Maria (or Mania) is ISP Group’s Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel. Before joining ISP, she worked as a Manager Financial Services & Regulatory at KPMG, as an external Legal & Compliance Officer at Bank Hapoalim in Zurich and in a Compliance remediation project at Credit Suisse. She started her professional career as a business lawyer in Athens, Greece, advising and representing international clients in corporate and trademark disputes for more than a decade.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Law from Aristoteles University in Thessaloniki (GR), which includes an exchange at Karl-Franzens University of Graz, and also a Master of Law (LL.M) from Humboldt University in Berlin. Maria is admitted to the Athens Bar Association and speaks Greek, German, English and French.
