The independent financial services boutique ISP Group continues its expansion strategy by opening an office in Panama City. The new presence will give asset managers, brokers, banks, fund managers and financial institutions in Latin America local access to ISP Group's full range of products and services. The Panama office is co-headed by Michael Zollinger, Partner and CEO ISP Panama, and Marcos Montero, Partner ISP Panama. This new presence is in line with ISP Group’s growth strategy and this year’s office openings in Geneva, Lugano and Hong Kong.
Marco Bartolucci, CEO of ISP Group, says: “Our new Panama office ensures dedicated, localised customer service and acts as our hub for the entire Latin-American continent. Our local team of highly qualified, seasoned experts ensures that local customers get unconstrained, direct access to ISP Group's global specialty services.”
To this end, the range of services offered to the Latin American market includes placement agent services for private markets, private equity, private debt and club deals, securitisation, structured products, derivatives, bond trading and crypto, and fund distribution.
Along with Michael Zollinger and Marcos Montero, the team in Panama also includes Sabina de Jaramillo and Donald Lee in the Business Development team, Ana Lorena Urriola, Compliance Officer, and Lidia Sanchez, Business Support.
“The two main pillars of our local strategy include the reinvention of the securitisation process guiding our clients through all steps in the process and the access to club deals and private market deals through capital markets”, adds Marcos Montero.
