How are New Technologies Shaping the Future of Finance?

ISP Group was at the Dublin Tech Summit (DTS), and Richard Roughley (CTO) and Michael Swift (Core Engineering) attended the event in the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) and shared the key takeaways of the event with us!

The key takeaways are:

Cybersecurity: Social engineering and ransomware attacks are one of the biggest threats to the security of company systems and data. Ensuring employees and processes are ready for such an attack is key to maintaining a positive reputation.

Post-COVID-19 hybrid working: Now hybrid working is the norm, providing an effective set-up to work remotely can increase employee happiness and ensure companies can attract and retain talent.

Effective use of innovative technologies: As future technologies, such as drone delivery and automated transport, become reality, it is important for innovators and established businesses to work together closely to ensure developments are financially viable for clients.

As our CTO Richard Roughley says:

“Given ISP Group’s move to cloud technologies and the expansion strategy to new locations and markets, getting in front of these topics is vital to the growth, stability and client focus of the company. Too often, companies who don’t consider themselves ‘tech’ take a passive approach, but ISP is taking the initiative to take the company forward.”

The summit was a two-day event bringing together industry leaders in technology, innovation and business through a series of workshops, keynote speakers, fireside discussions, demonstration booths and networking events.
